Excavation and base
The ground is cut deep enough for the base the surface needs. For a driveway, that base is built for the load a car puts on it.

Bedding sand
A screeded layer over the base so every paver sits level and even before it is set.

Pavers set in pattern
Set by hand to the layout, cut at the edges to keep the line clean.

Edge restraint
Anchored along exposed outer edges before joint sand to support the perimeter rows.

Joint sand and compaction
Sand is swept into the joints, then final compaction seats the pavers and settles the sand.

The visit
Gregorio walks the spot with you, marks the layout, looks at the grade and the load it needs to carry, and writes down the scope.

The estimate
The written estimate identifies the included excavation, base, pavers, edge restraint and joint-sand work.

The job
Base first. Then the pavers are set and restrained. Then joint sand and compaction. You get told when it is ready to use.
