Review utility marking

Dig the trench
Cut to the route and to the depth the line needs, between the marked start and end points.

Set the line
The pipe or line goes in the trench. What connects at each end is its own scope, written in alongside this one.

Backfill
The trench is filled back in over the line.

Grade restored
The surface is graded back to match the yard around it.
